The Regional Director of Care Management (RDCM) provides oversight to ensure compliance and quality of
services for individuals enrolled in Care Design New York (CDNY) CCO/HH. The Regional Director is responsible
to promote the mission and values of the organization and to ensure services provided meet or exceed any
regulatory standards governing the applicable Care Management program.
The Regional Director is the primary contact with IDD service providers in the assigned region. They are
expected to build relationships with a variety of personnel to ensure strong relationships are developed and
maintained. Additionally, the Regional Director is expected to understand the healthcare landscape, develop
key relationships, and identify broad gaps in service.
As the leader of a region, the Regional Director is responsible for the oversight and professional development of
staff. They are expected to lead by example and create an environment and culture that promotes the values
of CDNY. They will collaborate with other departments to ensure that all members’ needs are adequately met
and that the organization is coordinated in its efforts and intended outcomes.
The Regional Director will fully support the culture of CDNY through the training, coaching, and development
of care management staff, continuously directing initiatives and operating procedures which lead towards
enhanced skills and job satisfaction. They will fully support methods and technology that provide for the highest
quality of caremanagement and person-centered servicesformembers. The Regional Director isresponsible for

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
This position may require fieldwork or duties to be carried out in a CDNY or close partner location
and is subject to having a full-time home office within 90 minutes of the assigned CDNY catchment
area.
• This role routinely uses standard office equipmentsuch as laptops and smartphones.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use
hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
• Must have adequate visual acuity to read correspondence, computer screen, and forms; manual
dexterity to operate keyboard; speaking and hearing enough to communicate by phone or in person
at average volumes.
• May be required to vary hours, days, and work schedules, depending onthe organization's overall needs.
• Must convey detailed, important spoken or written instructionsto others accurately.
• Must have the ability to receive and comprehend detailed critical information through oral and/or
written communication.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to twenty pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
